As a group, we decided as our practice activity for filming, we were going to remake a new video for Delilah - Never be another. We first had to research the costume, setting and props we were going to use for the music video.
Costume: We decided that we wanted our participant to dress very trendy/girly as the genre of the song is RnB. From research, we discovered that the costumes RnB artists wear is not plain. We did not want bright clothing that stood out, such as a bright luminous pink, we wanted simple colours such as pastel and dark colours to give a more classy look.
We also wanted our participant to have her hair down and straightened because we wanted her to look girly.
Setting: We decided that we wanted our 'artist' to perform against a brick wall because it gives an urban touch to the song. We wanted that urban touch because the original artist is young and her song 'Never be another' has an urban touch in the beat.
Props: We decided that we wanted to make our 'artist' wear sunglasses to reflect the mood of the song. We thought that if she wore glasses it would give a better and duller atmosphere.
