How will our video be different?
The main concept of our video is to show success whereas the concept of the original was to promote equality and shown through the combination of HipHop and Power pop. However, In our video we will be trying to portray success and imply that it's attainable.
In our video we will be located around City road basin. We will also film shots of the sunset from a high point at canary wharf as well as parliament hill. The purpose of these locations is because they look luxurious and well kept which link to the idea of entering a lavish lifestyle due to our artists record deal with Virgin EMI.
In the original video, they get shots of the 5 main cities in the world and film on rooftops.
In terms of costume, the original video consisted of all black colours seen on both artists. However, we are going for a black, white and gold colour scheme to be worn solely by the artist 'Ishy' as we don't want to draw too much attention to the feature. The reason behind this is because Ishy is our main focus and for him to stand out is important as this is his debut single.
