From this mood board, I have analysed the work of artists similar to my genre, (except for the previous student's work). I think that the real rap artists out there have very similar colour schemes, all mainly using black and white. The overall front cover of most of their albums are dark with pops of colour. I believe this is a convention of the rap genre and I am thinking of incorporating the same ideas into my own DigiPak and advertisement. A lot of rap artists also use chains in their ancillary products which is also something I must remember to do when I am taking pictures of my artist.
