Production - Editing Day 6 - Improving Rough Cut

Here are two pictures of Ismail improving the rough cut.

From the feedback we got, they said that it was not visually exciting and some of the shots seemed repetitive. Referring back to my blogpost: Making Changes - Annotation of Lyrics, we can clearly see that there are not enough extra shots, past shots and low angle shots. This could be the reason our video is not visually exciting as we are constantly repeating mid close ups, close ups and mid shots.

We are now changing the shots that seem repetitive with the ones that havnt appeared as much.

We are also going to try and bleed the colour out from the past shots to show a clear difference between the past and present.
